My handpainted silk is dyed on white tussah silk, as the silk dyes slightly lighter you will notice a little difference between the silk and the wool when handpainted. With all handpainted items you can expect slight colour variartions.
Silk is beautiful for spinning and using in felt projects and makes a lovely addition when carding batts
